Part-Time Technical Chiropractic Assistant:

Do you love helping people get better? Are you interested in being a Chiropractor? Do you want to get hands-on experience to prepare you for school? Do you like learning new skills?

Then we would like to meet you!

We are a high-volume Chiropractic & Wellness office located 7 blocks from the beach in beautiful Jacksonville Beach. We have multiple Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, and Medical Professionals on staff and are looking for someone interested in getting hands-on experience with various health providers. As well as learning how to improve the quality of patients’ lives functionally.

Basic Tasks of a Technical Chiropractic Assistant:

1st = Assist the providers in doing everything you can to free them up to provide the best possible care and results to the patient

2nd = Assist the Patient in having the best possible experience and outcome

3rd = Assist the office by helping sanitize, spot clean, laundry, and water. Anything to help the office provide the best possible environment for healing.

4th = Assist the Administration & Front Desk when necessary


Clinical Side:
Assists the Health care providers
Perform & assist with evaluation, x-rays, exams, reactivations
Teach Warm Ups and Home Care Exercises
Get the patients into the correct place for care
Have patients “Adjustment Ready”, “Massage Ready”, “Medically Ready”
Help patients with SKED (our scheduling app)
Electro Muscle Stimulation, Ice/Heat, Mechanical Traction
Footlevelers - custom-made orthotics
Videoing Testimonials, daily tips, etc for social media marketing
Update and enter notes in the boxes on the right side of the travel card for the doctor from the intake information from D1, Prog Eval’s, and RP’s

Off Shift Tasks:

Assisting with closing & opening shift
Data & file uploading
Helping with what needs to be done


Hours are based around Chiropractic Adjusting Shifts:

Monday = 10:30 am - 1 pm; 2pm - 6:30pm (7 hours)
Tuesday = 8 am - 12 am & 2pm - 6:30 pm (8.5 hours)
Wednesday = 2:30 - 6:30 pm (4 hours)
Thursday = 8 am - 12 am & 2pm - 6:30 pm (8.5 hours)
Friday = 8 am - 12 pm ( 4 hours)
Saturday = 9am - 11am (2 hours)

Total Hours = 33 hours and up to 40 hours a week when necessary (Saturdays & Wednesdays are flexible for more and/or fewer hours depending on the volume of patients in a given week)

Pay is $15-16/ hour and benefits, paid vacation, and bonuses are available after 90 Day probationary period.

Requirements:
College Degree or equivalent certification in health-related fields preferred
Comfortable and Confident with computers and electronic health records (aka learning new software)
Passion and interest in health and human performance
