Small, well-established local geotechnical firm seeks qualified candidate for Staff Engineer or Project Engineer position, part-time (min. 20-25 hours/week) to start, with potential for full-time employment (35-40 hours/week).

This position would be paid at an hourly rate of $25-35/hour (or higher) depending on skills and experience.

Fundamental geotechnical knowledge including soil classification, basic soil mechanics, and engineering geology required.

Must have computer skills with Word, Excel, and Auto-CAD, with at least some construction experience.

Position open now and can translate into long-term employment for the right candidate.
