TEACHING AFTER SCHOOL STEAM PROGRAMS

This is a SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME opportunity.

Locations: Schools throughout Miami, Broward and Palm Beach Counties

****PLEASE NOTE***** Positions during school year are for (1) one hour per day between 2:30-5:00 PM one to five days per week Monday-Friday.

Maximum number of hours per day are typically 1, and per week are 5.

Hobby Quest specializes in the following programs:

Aviation: Building and flying model airplanes.

Photography: Fundamentals of composition and shooting techniques.

Magic: Performing magic tricks and learning the secrets of magic.

Fashion: Basic hand sewing skills, sketching and garment design.

No experience is needed with any of the above subjects, as we will train you and supply all of the necessary curriculum and materials.

Salary: $50/teaching hour (base rate, increases for assignments beyond 15 miles)

Requirements:

· Must be fun, inspirational, outgoing, and motivated

· Must have classroom teaching experience (ages 5-11)

· Must be 18 Years of age or older and clear Level II background check

· Possess experience with activity-based teaching

· Must be organized, punctual, and responsive, and able to follow detailed instructions

· Possess strong classroom management skills (assessment required to be considered)

· Possess strong communication skills

· Possess valid driver license/reliable transportation
