Position Summary
This position will require you to work closely with existing full-time Employee Benefits Consultants to meet and exceed sales goals by driving new business opportunities. You will be responsible for establishing and developing new relationships with potential Buckner clients. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to attending network and association events, cold calling, generating prospect lists, developing relationships with prospects, and working with the Client Advisor to see the prospect through the sales and implementation process.
Education and Experience:
♦ College degree (or in progress) from a four-year university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
♦ We ask that you earn your Utah Health and Disability license within the first 60 days of your employment. You will be reimbursed for the study material and tests after you are an employee at Buckner
Required Job Knowledge and Skills:
♦ Research, Identify and develop future business opportunities
♦ Business development and financial evaluation skills
♦ Reaching out to prospects by phone, email, in-person, and social media
♦ Work with Employee Benefits Consultant to co-lead pre-deal activities including identifying opportunities, understanding needs, demonstration of value proposition, preparing presentations
♦ Develop circle of influence and partnering opportunities to advance revenue opportunity
♦ Ability to establish and develop strong relationships with clients, carriers, trusted business partners and ♦ coworkers
♦ Co-Manage implementation process
