Territory Sales Manager- California, Oregon and Washington State - Remote
Our client, an industry leading Medical Device Company seeking a Territory Sales Manager that is passionate, self-motivated with a strong work ethic to fill a position for the Southwest region. He / she must have B2B sales and DME experience. Must have Medical Device Sales experience.
Opportunity
Our Territory Sales Managers play a critical role in helping to improve people’s lives every day, interacting directly with healthcare providers to introduce, train and implement our products into customer organizations. They possess significant industry, therapy and product knowledge along with operating expertise to be a valuable consultant across a diverse customer base. They also educate providers and clinicians on the proper use of our products. The Territory Sales Manager is fully responsible for managing their own territory to achieve sales goals.
Ideal candidates have strong interpersonal skills and determination to provide the best possible experience to our customers. They strive for excellent performance, driven by the willingness to both teach and learn in the pursuit of developing creative solutions to integrate our products into customer organizations to become the primary therapy solution. They are good team players, dynamic, optimistic, intelligent, well-organized, and ambitious.
Responsibilities
TERRITORY MANAGEMENT
• Develop and execute a territory business plan that results in achievement of sales quota
· Develop business plans which identify opportunities within current customer base and formulate specific account sales strategies to execute upon these opportunities
· Manage customer accounts with an opportunistic, consultant mindset and facilitate customer growth and operational improvement
· Ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within territory geographic areas to maintain optimum level of exposure and effective time management
· Formulate call plans to anticipate and prepare for customer requests and queries
· Develop and maintain accurate account and territory records within the CRM system
· Budget and control expenses and adhere to company policies and procedures
· Perform all necessary administrative work
INFLUENCING & SELLING
· Develop and maintain professional selling skills
· Identify, establish and maintain productive working relationships with key decision makers, within customer accounts and their staff
· Effectively implement territorial sales plan to achieve revenue goals
· Plan and implement effective sales/product presentations to customers
· Exercise effective skill in identifying and confirming customers’ needs, handling objections and gaining commitment
· Maintain and expand existing business and develop new business opportunities
· Represent the company at industry conferences and maximize potential by targeting specific customers to gain sales leads and pursue opportunities to promote the company's products
· Develop strategies to counter competitors’ activities.
SERVICE
· Provide customers with a superior level of service.
· Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a prompt and effective manner.
· Educate customers to ensure that products are understood and used effectively.
· Maintain high standards of personal presentation and promote a professional personal and company image.
COMMUNICATIONS
· Communicate and maintain effective working relationships.
· Contribute to the development of a strong team effort.
· Communicate market intelligence/competitor activity promptly, including potential sales leads, and information regarding product, price or account activity to the EVP of Sales and VP of Customer Support as well as other appropriate company personnel.
· Submit to Sales Manager (specific reports) Sales Activity Report, Call Reports and Work Plans.
· Ensure a professional standard of written and verbal communication to customers.
SELF DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
· Develop, maintain and display professional selling skills, and product knowledge expertise.
· Develop and maintain comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge.
· Recognize and thoroughly understand the comparison with competitors’ products
· Participate in product and skills development programs, managing own self development.
Education, Experience and Skills
• 4-year college degree
• 4+ years of proven B2B sales experience preferably in the biotech, life science, pharmaceutical, med-tech, engineering or related industries
• Non-sales individuals that may be considered for this position are those that present with 4+ years of relevant clinical or engineering experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong sales drive and a desire to succeed
• Emotional intelligence and active listening skills are essential
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong work ethic, self-starter, with a professional and friendly attitude
• Currently reside within the region (Northeast)
This role reports to the E.V.P. Sales and is supported by VP Customer Support.

Base salary: 100k-110k, OTE 200k uncapped bonus, six figure earning expectation, and genuine career progression. All Benefits plus Car Allowance
