Job Summary: Performs tasks to collect and manage all data pertinent to employees in a mode that is legally compliant and in alignment with Company policies and procedures.
Detailed Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Posts job ads as instructed by CFO and/or HRD.
2. Assist, as needed, in screening and interviewing of candidates.
3. Send interview schedule for all need-to-know parties.
4. Accurately file job ads, resumes, interview notes, and applicant tests.
5. Responsible for screening and hiring part-time employees as requested by Supervisors.
6. Request temporary employees as requested by Supervisors.
7. Send, as requested, offer letters to selected candidate.
8. Inform relevant parties to create badges and key fobs.
9. Instruct new full-time and part-time hires on how to accurately complete “New Hire Packet.”
10. Weekly, complete part-time employees’ employment verification forms.
11. Maintains Suggestion/Idea Boxes and alerts CFO and HRD to any employee suggestions.
12. Maintains appearance of bulletin boards.
13. Reports employee issues to the relevant parties.
14. Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. 1-2 years of Human Resources experience or 4-year degree specializing in Human Resources Management
1. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Computer competency – Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS
4. Knowledge of major employment law legislation.
5. Ability to multi-task.
Physical Demands:
1. Must be able to sit for long periods of time
2. Must be able to use hands/fingers for computer
3. Must be able to hear and communicate with employees via phone
4. Must be able to read basic paper and electronic documents
