Title: Internal Customer Service / Sales Rep.
Reports to: Partner Development Specialist
Purpose: Will assist the Partner Development Specialist in daily activities.
Must be able to learn all product/processes well enough to back-up Partner Development Specialist in their absence Must show ability to critically think and solve problems. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. A team leader also must exemplifies the values and mission of CCT to their team.
Key Responsibilities
• Represents company to external and internal customers, answers product-related questions, traces lost shipments, and interprets and clarifies customer orders for the shipping
department
• Takes orders over the phone when necessary, and may manage web-based ordering
• Enters and maintains database records of customer profiles and prepares and maintains status reports
• Confers with management regarding customer credits, returns goods for credit, identifies quality assurance complaints, and writes price differentials on mail orders
• May approve allocation of stock in short supply, special price quotations and bids, pricing allowances, deductions, and adjustments
• May manage inventories at customer facilities using EDI [electronic data interchange], forecasting, replenishment, and inventory systems, focusing on stock and allocation
issues to maximize service levels
• Service reps must be quick on their feet, excel in having good conversations with customers, exhibit knowledge in the product/service, and have a positive outlook.
• Communication Skills, Competent technical knowledge, Ability to multitask, Attention to details , Ability to honor deadlines, A proactive approach to support,
Knowledge of a CRM system, Research / Data gathering. Must be a critical thinker, organized with understanding of BOM buildups would be a plus.
• Must back-up the Partner Development Specialist position in his absence
• Must be a team player
• Develop a strategy that their team will use to reach its goal
• Ensure that high quality products are produced within the shift and meet the company quality systems, processes, and procedures
• Effectively communicate with team and management to ensure production numbers are met
• Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift
• Be able to make appropriate decisions while following the company's organizational structure
• Follow directions and able to give directions
• Can learn new skills and techniques
• Perform administrative tasks as needed
Will train the right person. This will be part-time to start, but possibly could become full time.
