Photo Booth Attendant
Overview:
Jovial Events is eeking a versatile and energetic person that can setup, breakdown and operate a photo booth during a variety of events throughout Southern California. Ideally, the person is flexible, reliable, has reliable transportation and is knowledgeable about basic photography and lighting. Additionally, this person would be a quick learner, organized and open to a variety of activities and directions.
Job Duties and responsibilities:
Pickup photo booth from South Pasadena or Pasadena locations and transport to event locations
Arrive one hour prior to start of event or designated time
Setup photo booth effectively and with an eye for aesthetics and logistics
Understand the importance of wire and cable management
Ability to adjust settings to optimize lighting
Great customer service skills, helps customers operate the photo booth and generally enjoy the photo booth experience
Encourages use of the photo booth to capture images of all guests
Break down photo booth, lighting, and other equipment properly
Willingness to dress appropriately or wear uniform based on event type
Solve technical issues (Photobooth Training will be provided)
Handling difficult and/or demanding clients.
solve general computer issues, and he or she should not be startled when something minor arises. The attendant should think through difficult problems and invoke a step-by-step methodology to fix technical issues.
Pay: $20 per hour, 5-10 hours per week or as needed, events are a minimum of 3-4 hours long with setup time can increase depending on jobs booked, mostly weekends and evenings
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must wear provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to all safety guidelines and requirements, when neededModerate to extensive degree of physical and emotional stamina
Travel to multiple sites may be required, access to a personal vehicle preferred
Safely follow all workplace safety guidelines
Comfortable climbing up ladders and step stools as needed
Frequent and prolonged standing, walking, and sitting
Frequent talking and hearing conversations
Occasional reaching with hands and arms
Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
Ability to follow oral directions in emergency situations
Must not have an allergy to latex
