Architectural Drafter
Real Estate Equities Development, LLC, the leading national senior cooperative housing developer, has an immediate opening for the right candidate to join the team.
This is a full-time position with a competitive pay and benefits package. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a collaborative environment. This a great opportunity for someone who has a minimum of three years of architecture experience who wants to learn and grow with us.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, developing, coordinating and execution of medium to large-scale projects
Assist in all technical components related to projects such as code compliance, envelope detailing, and overall constructability
Assist in production of the schematic design, design development, and construction documents
Assist with ensuring the most efficient and cost effective execution of projects and designs
Assist with coordinating with external stakeholders (consultants/ city officials/etc.)
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of architectural design firm experience
Experience and knowledge of project execution from concept through completion
Experience and proficiency in REVIT
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Must be creative, detail oriented, professional, personable, self-motivated, and a team player
Some travel may be required
Successfully pass a background check
Not Required, but a plus:
A degree in Architecture
AutoCAD experience
Experience in the use of modeling software to create renderings (using Revit, Lumion, or Sketchup)
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience in senior and multi-housing projects
Knowledge of specifications, code requirements, construction administration review/documentation and wood frame construction
