Massage Therapist
Job Description
iCare Medical Group, a Family Practice Clinic in Monterey Park with work environment that includes modern office setting, safe work environment, on-the-job training, is seeking an attentive individual to evaluate and treat patients who have muscle and joint pain. Will be responsible for providing patients with a therapeutic, healing experience, massaging muscle groups using various massaging techniques and laser machines to provide relief of pain and inflammation. Also perform various supporting roles to the clinic as needed including providing clinical and administrative support to doctor and patients to ensure efficient operation of the medical office.
Major Responsibilities
Evaluating and assessing pain areas.
Applying different types of laser treatments for pain.
Manual manipulation
Be able to answer basic questions about health and wellness.
Provide a professional, relaxing atmosphere.
Make good judgement in responding to patient's comfort level.
Monitoring patient progress and assessing improvement following laser treatment.
Qualifications
Completed massage therapy program from an accredited school.
Required Skills
Team player with a pleasant attitude towards the practice of medicine. Believe in providing the highest level of patient care.
Familiarity with HIPPA regulations and professional ethics.
Microsoft Office experience.
Ability to speak effectively and kindly to patients, physicians and vendors.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in standardized situations.
